What To Expect: Before, During & After Surgery
Here’s what you can expect with breast augmentation at Northwest Ohio Plastic Surgery:

- During surgery: The procedure is performed under general anesthesia and typically takes 1 to 2 hours. Implants are placed through discreet incisions and positioned with care.
- Immediately after surgery: You’ll wake up in a recovery area, wearing a supportive bra to minimize swelling. Most patients go home the same day.
- Recovery: Expect some tightness, swelling, and temporary soreness. You can typically return to work and light activities within a week. However, strenuous exercise is usually restricted for at least 4 to 6 weeks.
